Hi there, Destiny! Welcome to planDisney. How exciting that you plan to continue the magic that the Magic Key Pass has brought you! With a Magic Key, there’s no telling what you’ll be able to experience at the parks with all the benefits and perks that come along with it! I’d love to walk you through the process of renewing that pass.
If you’re on the Disneyland website, hover over the “Tickets and Parks” tab and click the “Buy Magic Key Passes” link. From there, you’ll be taken to the
Magic Key Pass page where you can
renew by simply following the instructions based on the pass linked to your account. It’s important to note that at this time, you can renew up to 30 days before your Magic Key pass expiration date. Passes cannot be renewed after the expiration date.
If you’re on the
Disneyland app, tap the (≡) on the bottom right of the screen and scroll down until you see “Magic Key Passes” under the “Plan My Next Visit” heading. Once you tap that, scroll all the way to the bottom until you see “Renew Magic Key Passes” under “Quick Links.”
In addition to the magical offerings that come with the Magic Key Pass at the parks, did you know that these perks are also extended outside the gates of Disneyland? At this time, Magic Key holders can
save up to 30% on a spring stay at Aulani in Hawai’i. Aulani holds such special memories for my family, as it was our honeymoon destination and has also been the setting for family trips since then. It offers a different take on Disney than what you’d find in the parks, blending Disney storytelling with the rich culture and traditions of Hawai‘i.
