Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to
planDisney you go, Veronica! I always enjoy helping my fellow
Magic Key holders, so let’s get started!
I would be happy to walk you through the renewal process. First, I recommend double checking your expiration date by pulling up your Magic Key on your
Disneyland app and checking in the “Tickets and Passes” section. Underneath the bar code of your Magic Key, you’ll find your expiration date. Currently, Magic Key passes are eligible for renewal up to 30 days before their expiration date, so if you’re within your renewal window, you can navigate to
Disneyland.com/renew to begin the renewal process. You’ll be prompted to sign into your Disney account, and then you’ll be directed to the renewal page, which will say, “Renew Your Magic Key Pass” at the top of the page. There, you’ll see your Magic Key, along with any other Keys you’re linked to, that are within their renewal windows. You'll have the chance to upgrade or downgrade to a different pass type, subject to pass availability, which may change from time to time. Then, you’ll complete your transaction, and be on your way to another year of fun and adventure!
Are you following
@DisneylandMagicKey on Instagram yet, Veronica? If not, I highly recommend giving it a follow for great tips and information. For example, have you seen the adorable ombre-toned Magic Key popcorn bucket? It’s featured on Instagram right now! Plus, have you heard the exciting news about
Disney Genie+ service? All Magic Key holders can now receive 20% off the purchase of Disney Genie+ service (subject to limited availability) on days when you use your pass for park admission. I definitely plan to take advantage of this perk soon!
If you have any other questions about the renewal process or anything else, please stop by again... we're all EARs!
Wishing you another magical year!
Kristin
