Hi there, Tracy. A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney. We're so glad you dropped by to ask us this question. I'm so glad to hear that you are a
Magic Key holder and I'm even happier to hear that you are planning to renew for another year of magic.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive any notification or communication about renewing your Magic Key pass. Not to worry, I'm delighted to share how you can start your renewal. You can renew your Magic Key pass up to 30 days before your current pass expires. Visit the Magic Key tab at the Disneyland site and scroll toward the bottom of the page where you'll see the section "What's Next?" with the link to
renew your Magic Key pass. You will log into your Disney account and see all of your renewal options.
I recommend renewing as soon as possible. Once you renew your Magic Key pass, you can immediately start making reservations for your renewed pass. You can still hold reservations for your pass that is about to expire as well as make new reservations. I loved this feature and not having to wait until the first day of my newly renewed Magic Key pass.
I love being a Magic Key holder and hope you have been enjoying it as well. I especially love being able to drop into the theme parks when I need a little extra magic in my life (with a valid theme park reservation). The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort just started yesterday and I can't wait to get in as many visits as I possibly can. I've checked out all of the new
Foodie Guides and can't wait to start crossing items off of my must-eat list.
Tracy, I hope this helps you get on your way to renewing your Magic Key pass. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's to another year of magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
