Can you ren a RV at the Fort Wilderness campsite

    Hi Kathy!

I will be heading down soon for a couple of months at the wonderful Fort Wilderness Resort. It is one of the best campgrounds in the country and such a treat for Walt Disney World vacationers.

You can certainly rent an RV for your stay at the Fort. Disney does not do this but they recommend several outside companies on the website. You can call to determine the pricing and the type of RV they have to offer. Once you have agreed on all of that these companies will then bring the RV to Fort Wilderness on your check-in date. They will have it set up for you and give you a simple tutorial about how they work. They will then pick up the RV at the end of your stay so all you have to do is arrive at the Fort yourself.

There are two important questions to ask when calling the companies. Ask to make sure they have a 24 hour help line and assistance program in case something breaks or goes wrong. The second thing is to find out what they provide. Some provide linens and towels while others expect you to bring your own. You will want to make sure you have all the details confirmed before arrival.

    Enjoy this great experience!
