Welcome to planDisney, Sandra!
I'm glad to hear you've recently captured some magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort. My favorite Disney PhotoPass image from a recent ladies' trip ended up being the shot where we "slept" on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. A close second was a ghoulish Magic Shot in front of Cinderella Castle during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
It sounds like someone on your
Family and Friends List in My Disney Experience activated a
Memory Maker purchase during your trip, Sandra. That's magical news! This purchase allows them to view and download
Disney PhotoPass images of up to 25 members of their Family and Friends list, which likely includes you. While their Memory Maker purchase includes your photos, they are the only person able to download and view unwatermarked images since the purchase is linked to their My Disney Experience account. In order to view your vacation photos without the watermark, your friend will have to download the photos from their account and share them with you.
On my recent ladies' trip, one person was in charge of downloading all of the Disney PhotoPass images and saving them to a shared folder. She added photos throughout the day, usually during a sit-down meal or rest break. To make sure your Disney PhotoPass images are visible in your friend's My Disney Experience account, click "Update" next to their name as it appears on your
Family and Friends List online and make sure the "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" box is checked. It's also fine to wait until your trip is over to download all of the images at once. Just keep in mind that all Disney PhotoPass images expire 45 days after they are taken.
I hope this information helps preserve your most magical memories, Sandra. When you're ready to plan for new memories, planDisney will be hEAR!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
