How do I remove people from my list on My experience app

    Hello, Penny,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  The My Disney Experience mobile app has so many great features from knowing wait times for attractions to being able to unlock the doors at Disney resort rooms.  I especially like being able to save time by placing mobile orders at participating quick service restaurants.  The faster we can enjoy a Dole Whip the happier my whole family is!

Earlier this year, I realized I had so many people included in My Disney Experience after taking some incredible trips with different groups of family and friends, and I needed to remove people from the list of our Family and Friends to more easily manage my account. I discovered it can be a little tricky based on the individual guests.  Here are the three situations you may have and how to make the changes:

The first example is how to remove an adult who HAS his/her own Disney account:
    1) View your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience.
    2) Locate the person that you wish to remove on the list and press the “Edit” button.
    3) You will see a page with details about the person that you wish to remove. Press the “Remove” button.
    4) A pop-up message will appear and ask you to confirm that you wish to remove the person. Press the “Remove” button.

The second example is how to remove some one who does NOT have his/her own Disney account:
    1) View your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience.
    2) Locate the person that you wish to delete on the list and press the “Edit” button.
    3) You will see a page with details about the person that you wish to delete. Press the “Delete” button.
    4) A pop-up message will appear and ask you to confirm that you wish to permanently delete the person. Press the “Delete” button.

I found out when I was going through this process that neither of those situations worked for me because I had family and friends on our list who still had active entitlements.  When this happens, you will need to call (407) 939-4357 to have a cast member assist you.

Wishing you a Disney Day!  Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Kara
