how do I remove a guest from my plans

Hi Michelle, and welcome back to planDisney.

I know exactly where you’re coming from. Our family trips are constantly changing, too. Some years the grandparents have joined us, other times it’s been solo trips, and more recently we’ve linked up with friends for just part of a vacation. Because of that, I’m often updating our Family & Friends list so everyone traveling with us can share dining reservations, Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections, and park plans as needed.

If you’d like to remove a Guest from being able to see your current or future plans, you’ll want to adjust your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. Once you’re logged into your account, head to the Family & Friends page and locate the Guest you’d like to remove. Pending the Guest, they will either be the primary Guest (of their family, for example) or they will be Guests managed by the primary Guest, which will dictate what you can change.

If the Guest you are trying to remove from your list is the primary Guest, or it’s a single account, you will see four options to choose from after selecting “Edit Settings”:

    • A toggle button allowing the connected Guest to view and modify all of your plans
    • A toggle button allowing the connected Guest to view your Disney PhotoPass photos
    • Ability for the connected Guest to make plans for the Guests you manage (your family, for example)
    • Ability to remove the connected Guest from your Family & Friends list.

If the Guest you want to remove is a Guest managed by a primary Guest account, you will select “Edit Settings,” and on the drop-down that opens, you can select “Remove.” You will see that by doing so, the person you remove won’t be able to make plans with you, but if that Guest is connected to any Guests you manage, they will still be able to make plans.

I hope this helps get your plans tidied up, Michelle. If you run into any other questions, please come back and let me know. I'd be happy to walk through it with you!
