How do I remove duplicate tickets from my plan? My daughter purchased some for us and she did not realize we already had. I need to remove the ones I purchased

    Hiya Julie!

I first wanted to give you a warm welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! We are so excited that you came to us with your question, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning journey! There's no better place to create magical memories with your family than at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially during the World's Most Magical Celebration! I have the most fun and heartwarming memories from my trips with my own family, so I cannot wait for you to experience the magic with yours.

Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel theme park tickets and receive a refund. However, the good news is that you will be able to use these tickets in the future. Indeed, your daughter can go into her My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans." Then, she will be able to click on "Tickets and Memory Maker" and click on "Change Tickets" next to the duplicates. This way, she will have the opportunity to reschedule the tickets for a future trip. However, if she does not currently have any future plans to visit the resort, the expired tickets can also be used as a credit when purchasing future tickets of equal or higher value. To obtain your credit, you will have to contact a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Since you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon, you could also stop by one of the ticketing windows at any of the theme parks or the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and they will be able to help!

Now, Julie, I am not sure when you will come to visit, but this year is an especially magical time! The World's Most Magical Celebration, the resort's 50th anniversary, lasts throughout the year and until the Spring of 2023, so make sure to come and visit in time to experience all the unique celebratory offerings! For instance, stay at the theme parks until after dark to experience the EARedescent, Beacons of Magic at each park. Indeed, Cinderella Castle, the Tree of Life, EPCOT's Spaceship Earth and the Tower of Terror light up the skies with breathtaking projections. In addition, stay to watch the new nighttime spectaculars at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Indeed, while Disney Enchantment and Harmonious have only been at the theme parks for a few months, they have already become some of my favourites!

I hope this was helpful, Julie, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now!

    Have a magical day,
