Hi Nicole,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Nicole, this is an easy fix! What you want to do is sign into your
My Disney Experience mobile app and from the home screen select the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner. On the next screen, scroll all the way down to “Payment Method” and under the “Payment Method” you should see your current card on file. If you hit the “x” in that card’s box, you’ll be able to delete it. Once deleted, I suggest you add a card that you’d like to use for
mobile ordering and most of your Walt Disney World Resort purchases. I usually use one form of payment for my trips, that way I know what’s being used at all times.
Even when you do online check-in for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, My Disney Experience will most likely ask for a card to have on file. That card is usually your primary payment method within the app, so if you do it now, you’re saving yourself a step! If for any reason you need help with this process after you do mobile check-in, when you get to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can go to the front desk and they will double check everything for you!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to visit the
World’s Most Magical Celebration later this year.
If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
