I remember yrs ago in Epcot, people could open oysters and see if their is a pearl inside? Does this still happen? If so how much does it cost and where?

    Hi Annabel:

I believe you are referring to the Pick a Pearl station at the Japan Pavillion in Epcot.  You pay for your Pearl (prices are subject to change, but last year it was just under $16.00 per pearl ticket), pick your oyster, the oyster is opened for you, the pearl from the oyster is cleaned, and voila, you have your pearl.  You can take your pearl home with you or choose to pay extra if you want to purchase a jewelry setting for your pearl.  Prices for settings vary considerably depending on the setting chosen, and can range from several dollars to much more.

    Enjoy your vacation.
