Hi! I remember reading about an offer that if you're staying in a Disney World resort (I will be staying at Pop Century) and you declined housekeeping services, you could get a $10 Disney gift card for each day of your stay. Is this still true?

    Hey there, Alex!

Welcome back to planDisney. We are absolutely delighted that you continue to send your questions our way. Disney's POP Century Resort is a great location to stay during your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. The recent addition of the Disney Skyliner gives this resort incredible convenient transportation to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. And the sky-high views are spectacular. If you and your travel party have some downtime, be sure to catch a Movie Under the Stars. This is a great entertainment experience that is available right at your resort.

Alex, you are correct. Previously there was a housekeeping promotion offered at this Disney Resort hotel. This special did offer a Disney Gift Card when opting out of the housekeeping service. This promotion has since expired. I have not heard any news of this promotion returning. Special offer information can be found on the Walt Disney World website, and the site is updated as they are released. Currently, housekeeping is operating as a modified service every other day of your stay.

I hope that you are getting excited about your upcoming adventure! September is an amazing time to visit the theme parks. Fall decor and festivities will be underway throughout Walt Disney World. I am sure that your trip will be memorable.
    We'll see ya real soon!
