    I remember eating at Tortuga Tavern in the MK.But the last time I was there it was not open. I checked the schedule and it shows it is not open. Is it only open certain seasons. We will be there next week and would love to go.

    You must be so excited that your Walt Disney World trip is next week!

    Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland is open for lunch seasonally, which generally means it serves on the very busiest days at Magic Kingdom. Your arrival coincides with the end of the peak summer season -- which is good timing for most things -- but it likely means you will miss the burritos and fixings bar at Tortuga.

    You can still get a taco salad with fixings bar next door at Pecos Bill's, which is open year-round. The fixings bar there also has a full range of condiments for burgers and other sandwiches.

    Can I also recommend my favorite quick service restaurant in Magic Kingdom? Columbia Harbour House is a must for my family's visits. We love the salads, the vegetarian sandwich and the fish. If you sit upstairs near a window, you have a great view of the Haunted Mansion and other parts of Liberty Square.
