Hi Jessica,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. All this planning is going to be soooo worth it when you get to Walt Disney World and start soaking in the magic; I’m so excited for you!
While the dates for
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party haven’t yet been released, I can share that they were released last year in April, and tickets went on sale in May. While I can’t guarantee that this will be the timeline for this year, if Disney does stick to a similar time frame, you don’t have too long to wait. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog as the ticket sales announcement will likely appear there.
Jessica, I would go ahead and make your advanced dining reservations at the 180-day mark, and then realize you might have to move a reservation if it conflicts with a Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party night. In my experience, there are only a handful of really difficult reservations to get, so you hopefully shouldn’t have too much trouble moving one.
My number one planning tip for Disney is to have a plan, but stay flexible. There are so many amazing things coming this summer with the Walt Disney World
Incredible Summer, and you’ll want to be open to whatever new magic crosses your path!
Wishing you a fun planning process and a magical vacation,
Robyn
