    Which would be the most relaxing place to see the MK fireworks- after dinner @ the Californian or a beach location (I heard mentioned earlier)?

    Diane probably the most relaxing place to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks would be the beaches of the Polynesian resort.  You have a great view and being on the sand with the relaxing sound of the waters just a few feet away can't be beat!

    California Grill is a wonderful restaurant at the Contemporary resort but it does get busy.  You can have reservations there for a certain time and then still have to wait quite a while as guests often don't want to leave their tables hoping to catch the fireworks.  You are never guaranteed a window seat and you might find yourself still eating without a view.  Trying to finish your meal and still get outside to the observation area would not be as relaxing either.
