Nicole from Clackmannanshire Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

With its reintroduction in 2024 and the changes I'm looking for some guidance regarding the DDP. We used to be able to convert credits downwards, i.e. use a TS credit to pay for a QS meal? I know we can't do it for QS to Snacks anymore.

Hey howdy hey, Nicole, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by our neck of the woods to ask this great question today! It sounds like you're planning an exciting vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and if you're thrilled about the return of dining plans, you have a friend in me!

I love the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Each offers fantastic savings and, in my opinion, they make your vacation feel more all-inclusive. The Disney Dining Plan is great for guests like me who love to take a moment each day to have a relaxing meal at a table service restaurant. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is awesome for folks who like to be a little more flexible and on-the-go with their plans. You can't go wrong with either option, and it has never been easier to track your remaining meals and snacks alongside your past charges in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Speaking of the app, there's a feature that allows you to place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order - something I prefer to do while waiting in a queue for an attraction, so I can minimize my time waiting for food later.

You'll recall that past versions of the dining plan might have allowed for some flexibility in converting different types of meals and snacks. As of now, conversion of meals and snacks is not an option. Happily, I think you'll find that there is a lot of value in using your meals and snacks as they are allocated! Some of my favorite table service meals include brunch at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and dinner at Tusker House Restaurant. Don't forget to book an Advance Dining Reservation 60 days in advance for table service restaurants! I love the quick-service options at places like Backlot Express - get the Cuban Sandwich!

Nicole, I hope this is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming vacation. Please stop back by if you have any additional questions as you continue to plan!

    See you real soon!
