Will you be reinstating your dinner plan. By in advance

Welcome back to planDisney Sarah!  We'd be happy to help you with your question about dining at the Disneyland Resort.

As of now, there is not a dining plan available with vacation packages at this time.  There are so many wonderful dining options when visiting both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, as well as the Downtown Disney District.

One option for your visit would be to explore the Quick Service dining locations located throughout the Disneyland Resort, I love to view the menus ahead of time to see what options they offer for my family.  Many of these locations also offer the option to utilize the mobile ordering feature through the Disneyland app, and it's a great way to plan ahead and save time while in the parks.  Our favorite Quick Service locations are Bengal Barbecue in Disneyland Park and Pym Test Kitchen in Disney California Adventure Park.

If you're looking for a Table Service dining experience, there are some wonderful options and you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance.  We usually like to do a Table Service option for dinner, and give our feet a break.  It's great to relax and enjoy a great meal at the end of the day!  We always try to snag reservations at Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland Park where you'll see the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction float by, or at Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure Park, you cannot beat the view of Pixar Pier!

Another tip is to book a Character Dining experience.  We love to book a reservation on a non-park day, and knock out seeing some of our favorite Disney pals then instead of waiting in lines at the parks.  One of our favorites is Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel.  The character dining experience is available for both breakfast and dinner, and the energetic atmosphere and the food can't be beat!

I hope all of this information about dining is helpful for you Sarah, all of this talk about Disneyland food and dining is making me hungry!  If you have any other questions for your upcoming trip, please feel free to come back and ask!

    Have a magical day!
