Hi there, Amanda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you are considering doing back-to-back itineraries on the
Disney Wonder! My family often sails back-to-back itineraries, especially when the ship is heading to different ports, so I totally say, “go for it”!
As long as you have the proper
travel documentation necessary for both itineraries, there are no specific regulations about cruising back-to-back. Since the first itinerary you are looking at leaves from Vancouver, you’ll want to be sure that all Guests have valid U.S. Passports since you’ll be initially embarking in Canada. Once you arrive in San Diego, Guests are asked to disembark and check in for the second voyage and gain admittance back on the ship. From my past experiences with back-to-back voyages, we have not had to disembark with our luggage, but be prepared that there is always a chance that you may be asked to disembark with your luggage. Specific information will be provided to any Guest completing a second voyage and will be left in your stateroom with instructions for that last (and first) morning! From my experience, I would say to do anything you can to get the same stateroom for both voyages because assuming you do not need to disembark with your luggage, its not fun to repack your things! Luckily, our stateroom host moved our luggage for us, but it was still definitely NOT FUN to have to pack on that final evening just to unpack again the next day.
Please come back with more questions you have once you've booked your adventure - or adventures - with Captain Mickey!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
