What are the regulations on cancellations?

    Hello Yusimi,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm sad to see your question, and hopefully I can help you. You don't mention whether you're referring to a Resort Hotel reservation or a Dining reservation, so I'll share info on each. None of us likes to contemplate cancelling a Walt Disney World vacation experience, but sometimes our plans do require a change.

Cancellations for a Resort Hotel reservation can vary by the type of reservation. You may be able to simply sign in to your My Disney Experience account and select "Cancel Reservation." If the reservation can't be cancelled online, you'll see a message like this: "To modify or cancel your reservation, please call (407) 939-1936." In that case, you'll want to contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations directly. You can read more about Resort Hotel reservation cancellations on the Help Center.

Cancellations for Disney Dining reservations vary, and each restaurant maintains its own policy. You can view your dining reservations online at your My Disney Experience account. If you made your dining reservation online, you should have received a confirmation email with cancellation policy details. You can also call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. You can read more details about Dining reservation cancellations on the Help Center.

Yusimi, I hope you get to enjoy Walt Disney World real soon. As my good friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Lindsey N. likes to sing, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!"

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
