Hi we are regular vistors to WDW and are coming again this November (2015), however this time I am bringing a 2 year old that is a fussy eater and I am concerned in respect of eating in the parks and finding suitable food for him, any tips?

    Hi Helen,

Thanks so much for your great question. Visiting Disney Parks with little ones brings a whole new level of excitement, but not without a few challenges. Luckily, you have a few things going for you.

Children at this age will be able to share off your plate at no charge. Many times, when my boys were small, I would order something for myself that I knew they would enjoy if there was nothing appealing to them on the kid's menu.

You may also bring food into the parks with you. I load up on things like cereal bars, applesauce pouches, fruit and pretzels to make sure we are prepared for any gaps in mealtime. Small, soft-sided coolers are allowed in the parks as long as they are not on wheels. And remember, no glass!

You may also view menus online in advance of your trip. I tend to plan our meals around the pickiest eaters, so I always take a peek at the menu to make sure everyone will be happy.

I hope you will find a few options that work for you and your family. Wishing you many happy memories on your upcoming adventure. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
