Hi Katie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy to answer your question!
This September will be a great time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. Yes, I
do think all times are the best time to visit the resort, but this September, it's especially true. Why? Well, my favorite
EPCOT festival will be taking place, that's why! The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is the original and it's just a wonderful time to be in that park! In addition to the usual delicious and eclectic food offerings at the park, the
Global Marketplaces that pop up during this festival add even more flare. Trust me, be sure to check it out when you're there!
Theme park tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort are non-transferable and non-refundable. You may be able to apply what you've already paid to a different ticket type, however, if the price of the tickets is less expensive than your original ticket type, no refunds will be given. You can check out the
terms and conditions for more details.
All that being said, if the tickets you purchased are part of a vacation package (theme park tickets
and Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stay), you can usually change or cancel your package without penalty 30 days or more before your arrival date. Once again, I'd encourage you to review the
terms and conditions for more details.
Katie, by the end of this summer,
everyone's favorite imaginative dragon, Figment, should be greeting Guests at EPCOT. If he's out and about when you're there, be sure to stop by and say hi! And we're all keeping our eye on
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, which is opening by the end of 2023. Fingers crossed it opens in time for your visit! If not, just make sure to stop by
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to
say hello to Moana herself.
I hope you have a wonderful trip to the resort. Be sure to
reach out again if you have any other questions. We are always happy to help!
Adventure is out there,
Matt
