    I have regular MagicBands for the Walt Disney World Resort (not MagicBand+). Can these be used at the Disneyland Resort?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for dropping by with your MagicBand+ question! 

    MagicBand and MagicBand 2.0 are not compatible at the Disneyland Resort. But, if you choose to purchase a MagicBand+ for your trip to the Disneyland Resort in California, you may use it at Walt Disney World in Florida as well. 

    At the Disneyland Resort, you must assign which ticket will use each MagicBand+. So, even if a MagicBand+ is assigned to a specific Disney profile or account at Walt Disney World, it may be used by any Guest at Disneyland. Once linked to the Disneyland Mobile App, you may use the MagicBand+ at the theme park's main entrances, at lightning lane entrances and to link photos to your Disneyland Account with a Disney PhotoPass Photographer.
