We have regular Magic Kingdom Park tickets and we also have tickets for the Not So Scary Halloween Party for the same day. Can we leave the Magic Kingdom early for nap time and then re-enter with our Halloween Party tickets later on the same day?

    Welcome Lindsey ~

It is always great to hear from a fellow Georgia Peach! Your trip is literally around the corner and I know you are too excited to sleep! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my all-time favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom and you are going to have a spooktacular time!

Taking a break from the theme parks can be a great idea especially when you are planning to stay in a park late into the evening for events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We often leave a theme park to go back to our Walt Disney World Resort hotel for a swim or a nap. We also leave to dine at locations outside the theme parks including Disney Springs and restaurants located in the resort hotels.

With the 1-day, 1-park tickets, you are welcome to leave and re-enter the same park as many times as you would like on the same day. You do not have to do anything special as you exit the park. You will be allowed to re-enter by simply re-scanning the same MagicBand or admission card along with your biometric identification (scanning your finger) when you return.

You can also do the same with tickets that have the park hopper option added but you can go and come between all four of the theme parks.

Although it is not guaranteed, I have heard that the Ghost Hosts for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party often let Guests enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. If you leave and return to the Magic Kingdom before 4:00 p.m., you can re-enter on your regular theme park ticket. If you plan to re-enter after 4:00 p.m., you should be able to go ahead and use your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
