Kassandra from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have regular hopper tickets for Tuesday, February 3, 2026. We understand that this date coincides with Sweethearts’ Nite and that we need to exit Disneyland Park by 8:00 PM. My question is what time does DCA close that day and could we stay there later?

Hi there, Kassandra, and a very warm welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your great question and, oh boy, sounds like you have a very special visit coming up! I bet you're counting down the days.

Kassandra, you are correct that Sweethearts' Nite will be occurring on Tuesday, February 3 and Disneyland Park is scheduled to close at 8pm that day for this special event. I can understand your desire to plan ahead for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth (I'm the same way!), so you'll find park hours on the home page of the Disneyland app by clicking "All Hours" or visiting the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website. According to the Hours & Events Calendar on the day of this writing, California Adventure Park is scheduled to close at 9pm. However, if you'd like to maximize the magic, stick around to experience World of Color Happiness! on the waters of Paradise Bay at 9pm. It's an incredible nighttime spectacular created especially for the 70th Celebration and gives me all the feels.

The Hours & Events Calendar is an incredibly helpful resource, Kassandra, not only for providing park hours, but also includes an entertainment schedule, attraction closure information, as well as the events occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top. That said, it's important to know that the schedule can change at any time.

I'm so excited you'll be in the Happiest Place on Earth during my very favorite celebration - Lunar New Year in California Adventure Park! Don't miss the bright and beautiful Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession that travels from Hollywood Land to Paradise Gardens. My favorite spot to view the procession, with plenty of spacious seating, is across from The Little Mermaid attraction. Check the Entertainment Schedule in the Disneyland app for performance times on the day of your visit.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Kassandra, and you'll be immersed in the magic soon. If any other planning questions come up as you're preparing for your upcoming visit, you know where to find us!

    Magic awaits,
    McCayla
