For the regular Disney dining plan, are adults over 21 able to use a snack credit toward an alcoholic beverage?

Hi there, Sara, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by to ask this great question about dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort! Many of my planDisney friends know that I'm one of the biggest fans of the Disney Dining Plan, and I'm always excited to talk about my experience with using it during my family's vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.

It sounds like you're exploring ways to use your snacks that are included with the Disney Dining Plan. You'll get one snack per night of stay, and those can really add up! At this time, a snack can not be used for an alcoholic beverage. Happily, there are many awesome uses of a snack that will have you coming back for more! My favorite snack is the Fresh Fruit Waffle with Hazelnut Spread at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom Park (just hold the bananas, please)! It's big enough to share, though it's so delicious that you might just want it all to yourself. Did you know that you can place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order at many dining locations for items just like this? Within the order, you can easily customize your selection, so if you're not a fan of bananas, either, feel free to modify your order to request that they be removed or left to the side.

If you're on the lookout for some refreshing adult beverages, I'd love to recommend one of my favorite frozen treats: the Rum Blossom at Pongu Pongu in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It's the perfect way to celebrate a successful journey on the back of a banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage!

Sara, did you know that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? If you have snacks that you need to use, this is the place to do it! With an abundance of food and beverages inspired by nature, you'll find unique and exciting places to use your snacks throughout the park! Check out the Foodie Guide on Disney Parks Blog for great information about the offerings that you'll find during the festival.

I hope that this has helped you sort out some of the details of your Disney Dining Plan. Please stop back by planDisney anytime with questions about your upcoming vacation!

    See you real soon!
