    Hi Moms - for "regular" dining reservations confirmed with a credit card (example: Mama Melrose's without the Fantasmic package) will we be charged a fee if we still dine in a Disney restaurant, but change restaurants within 24 hours?

    Hi Melissa:

    Thanks for sending such a great question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We had this problem on our last Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  My daughter became terribly ill so we needed to cancel our Advanced Dining Reservation at the very last minute.  When I tried to cancel online it told me that the cancellation period had passed.  I decided to visit the concierge at our Disney Resort and they were able to cancel our reservation without penalty.  I was then able to send my husband for a Quick Serve meal for us while my daughter was sleeping.  Disney is very accommodating and will do whatever they can to keep the guests happy.  If you do have any last minute changes and you are unable to make these changes on My Disney Experience, I would recommend visiting the concierge desk so they can help with your last minute change of plans.  If My Disney Experience allows you to change or cancel your reservation, you should be free from any fees being charged to your account for missed Dining Reservations.
