Hi Jacalyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
Disney Dining Plan is something I use every time I visit Walt Disney World, and I love the flexibility and convenience it offers. The Walt Disney World restaurants are very accommodating if Guests have any particular dining requests. Discuss with your server that you would prefer to share a meal, and use one Table-Service credit, and I am sure they will do all they can to help you. Everyone on the same Resort Reservation must be using the same Dining Plan, and while it is not linked to any actual dining reservations it may not used to purchase a meal for anyone outside of your Resort Reservation, so advise your server that some of you will be using your dining plan, and your friend will be paying by another method. The Disney Dining Plans are very flexible and it is entirely up to each individual Guest how they use their entitlements, and providing there are enough credits left on your account, you can use them in any way you please - maybe using more credits on one day, and less on another. The Dining Plans are available to use from time of check-in at your Resort hotel (if you check-in online, your Dining Plan can be used from 7.00am on your arrival day), until midnight on your day of departure.
Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either
online, or by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
