I have the regular dining plan, and want to know what is included for breakfast? I'm staying at the Riverside resort and they have a large counter service area. I'd rather eat a large breakfast then a lunch. What do you suggest?

    Hi Bill!

My family loves the convenience of Disney's Dining Plan and makes it a lot easier to plan my Walt Disney World vacations.  I also love to start the day with a good filling breakfast, it keeps us fueled for all the fun ahead! For breakfast, a quick-service credits includes an entrée and a non-alcoholic beverage, but for lunch or dinner a quick-service credit includes an entrée,dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Using your quick-service credits for lunch or dinner is a better deal because typically breakfast is the least expensive meal of the day, plus it includes a dessert as with breakfast it does not.  To get the most value for my money, I will often use a snack credit for breakfast and save my quick-service credit for lunch or dinner time. If you like to eat a large breakfast and a light lunch before using your table-service credit for dinner, then I say go for it!  It may not be the best value, but it's your vacation you should do it your way!

Riverside Mill Food Court does have some wonderful options for breakfast, including a Create-Your-Own Omelet station, French Toast, Pancakes, breakfast platters and of course the delectable Mickey Mouse Waffles, these are a must-do on each of my vacations.  I also highly urge you to take the stroll over to Port Orleans French Quarter to the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for their scrumptious Beignets, they are definitely worth the trip over.

I hope this was helpful, Bill and if you have anymore questions while planning your vacation, please don't hesitate to visit me again!

    Happy Planning!
