We have the regular dining plan. I have 2 kids, ages 10 and 7. My 10 yr old counts as an adult. If he hates all the adult entrees on the menu, can he order off the kids menu? Will that mess up how they count what TS meals and QS meals we've used? Thanks!

Hello, Lori!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Oh, I know a lot of us have been in this very dilemma at one point in our lives.  Paying for an adult meal when your child is ordering from the kid's menu can be VERY frustrating when you are trying to stretch your dollar.  Your 10 year old is more than welcome to order off the kid's menu, but he/she will still use one of his/her adult credits.  It is really cost effective to just pay out-of-pocket for a child's meal since they are not really that expensive.  This way you can save a full adult credit and enjoy it at a later time during your visit. Many Cast Members will be happy to allow you to order for your 10 year from the child's menu and add larger portions.  Of course, every restaurant is different and the choice is theirs.
