Registering for a DAS pass? Will be at the parks from Sunday until Wednesday.

Welcome to planDisney, Amanda! Your countdown is winding down, and your trip will be here before you know it! I know you must be excited to enjoy the magic of fall at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm arriving just a few days after you, and I'm about as happy as a grim-grinning ghost waiting for the magic to materialize!

Amanda, Disability Access Service is a helpful tool for qualifying guests who have trouble tolerating waiting in a conventional queue due to developmental disabilities. It's intended to help guests access the magic more comfortably, and I'm happy to help you take the steps to request this service for your upcoming visit!

First, you'll need to request a live video chat with a Cast Member to determine eligibility. This can be done at any time, up to 60 days before your visit. Keep in mind that there is no current option to register for DAS once you've arrived at the theme park, so be sure to complete this step before you arrive.

If the guest is approved to use DAS, the Cast Member will complete the registration process, which does require taking a photo of the guest who qualifies for the service, and setting up the party (remember this includes the eligible guest and up to 3 additional guests, for a total of 4).

Once registered, you'll be able to make your first return time selection once you've tapped into the theme park. Selections can be made using the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will allow you to return to the selected attraction at a specific time using the Lightning Lane entrance to bypass the standby line. Your return time will be equivalent to the current posted wait time for the attraction.

The final step is to enjoy your magical day! While waiting for your return time, take advantage of shorter standby times for other attractions or experiences, grab a Mickey-shaped snack, or enjoy some character interactions or entertainment! There's magic all around you, and you won't want to miss a thing!

I hope this helps, Amanda! If you have any other questions before your visit, come see us again here at planDisney! We're always happy to help make the magic accessible!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
