Have registered for the W&D in early November. In looking to book hotel, dining and park tickets, do you find better deals using a Disney travel agent versus booking yourself directly thru runDisney or the hotel? Need to be budget conscious.

    Hi Robyn!

The Wine and Dine Half is my favorite runDisney race!  I look forward to it each and every year, and can't wait until this one!

To be honest, the answer to your questions depends on what special offers Disney will release for the month of November.  Right now, you can find offers on the Disney World website through September that are pretty good deals.  They should release their fall offers sometime this summer.

What you could do, is book through runDisney (because there is a discount for runners), and then watch the Special Offers page.  If one becomes available that is better for you, you can switch your reservation.  (Just make sure when booking through runDisney that a cancellation will be allowed)  This way, you can go ahead and get the Resort of your choice, but if something better comes along, you can grab the better deal.  A Disney agent is a great way to stay on top of this, too.  The agent can let you know when deals become available.  And, if they are a Certified Disney Planner, then it won't cost you anything to use them.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
