Hello Kimberly! Thank you for bringing your question to the
planDisney!
At Walt Disney World,
service animals are welcome at most locations throughout the parks and resorts. Service animals can accompany Guests at all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, including
Disney's Contemporary Resort, in compliance with the ADA. There are dog relief stations throughout the resort. Service animals must be under the control of the owner and on a leash at all times. There are a few restricted attractions that service animals must abstain from at the parks and also, service animals are not allowed in the water. For more information, you can review the guide on
services for Guests with disabilities, email disability.services@disneyparks.com, or call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547.
Walt Disney World also offers pet boarding for dogs to enjoy a home away from home. Of course, service animals are allowed in the park, but for those Guests who want to travel with their furry companions,
Best Friends Pet Care is a great option! Four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels also offer dog-friendly accommodations, including
Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside,
Disney's Yacht Club, and
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
