Hello! I am registered to run the Dark Side Half Marathon. My husband and son want to see me cross the finish line, but he is worried about activities for our 20 month old. Will there be anything "kid appropriate" at the finish area?

    Hi Carly!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love that your husband wants to see you finish.  It's always very meaningful to see our loved ones at the finish line.

Being a Disney race, there will definitely be lots of little ones at the finish area.  While they don't normally have specific  hings to entertain toddlers, there is still a lot for him/her to see and watch.  I think it would depend on your toddler's personality and patience for waiting.  I have two sons.  One of them would have been fine to sit, chill and wait on me to finish. The other one would have been all over the place and probably not worth the effort of taking.

If your husband signs up for runner tracking, he will have a pretty good idea of when to expect you to finish. He could always find a good spot for your toddler to move around and play in, and then get to the finish line just a few minutes before you cross.  Of course, like any other outing, portable snacks and toys will also aid in keeping them busy!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
