I am registered for the Princess 1/2 Marathon in February. I am wondering what to expect for the weather - temperatures at the start and finish of the race, how to dress, etc. Any suggestions?

    Hi Larry!

The Princess Half is such a fun race and the weather is typically very pleasant.  Normal temperatures in February include highs in the low 70's.  This is pretty much what has happened for most of the Princess races.  However, this is always subject to change.  Yesterday (January 13), I ran the marathon in record highs that reached near 90 degrees, so you just never know!

I try to be prepared for any type of weather, and I keep an eye on the forecast for Orlando before my trip.  Generally, I wear a short sleeve top with either capris or shorts.  I start out with a "throw-away" sweatshirt that I shed when I warm up.  Disney will collect all clothing items and donate them to a charity, so it goes to a great cause!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
