Hi I have registered our magic bands with my account set up a family and friends, however when I come to make a reservation to a theme park it won’t take us with the magic bands keeps asking us to link ticket but doesn’t take it, please help

    Hi Nicola!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm very happy to see that you have made a holiday reservation to Walt Disney World Resort, and I can understand that you are eager to make your park passes as soon as possible.  The reason you are unable to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account is that you may not have the correct confirmation number yet.  If you have made your reservation directly with the Walt Disney Travel Company International, you will already have your confirmation number (booking reference) and you can use that number to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account today, and it should show up immediately.  If you have made your reservation with another UK Tour Operator, they will give you the Disney confirmation number - you might have to request it from them.  I know they are very busy with all the cancellations, re-booking and new guidelines that have come into effect recently and it's a good idea to check their website every day for their latest updates.  I completely understand how frustrating this is.

If you are using the My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the bottom-right of the screen (3 horizontal lines), then tap on My Plans, then (+) in the top right corner.  Tap on Link Hotel, then enter your confirmation number (booking reference), and your Last Name.  On the My Disney Experience website, click on My Plans, Resort Hotel, Link a Reservation, then enter your confirmation number and your Last Name.   Once you have done all this, you should be all set.  If you are having difficulties with linking your reservation, please call UK freephone number 0800 169 0749 to speak with a Disney Cast Member who will assist you.

As you know, the new Disney Park Pass system will be required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park, in addition to your park admission tickets, so as soon as you have linked your tickets to your account, then you can go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations now.  Reservations can be made up until September 2021, and as passes have limited availability I would encourage you to make your selections at your earliest opportunity.

At this time, during the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic and keep your eye on any new posts from the Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.

We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit.  Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share.  Come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
