I am registered for the 10K in January along with my sister and three nieces. I am diabetic. Will there be any snacks along the EPCOT route or will I need to wear a fanny pack with snacks?

Thank you for sending me additional questions, Staci!

The Walt Disney World® 10k course is a lot of fun! And you can run assured that there will be several water stations along the route to keep you hydrated. Unfortunately, there will not be any food stations along this route-- so if you need to make sure you regulate your blood sugar while on the course, I would definitely wear a running pouch or fanny pack, which is allowed, so you don't run into any trouble out there.

Once you've completed the race there will be water, POWERADE, bananas and snack boxes at the finish-line to help you rehydrate and recover quickly.

I hope this information is helpful in planning your medical needs during the race, Staci! Please do not hesitate to continue asking questions as you prepare. January will be here before we know it!

    Happy Training!
