I just registered for the Half Marathon during Marathon weekend - Whoo Hooo! My daughter will be 2 1/2 and I'm not sure which kids race would be most appropriate for her. I wasn't sure the age range on the Diaper Dash vs the 100m run. Thanks :)

Hi Allie!  Congratulations on committing to the half marathon!  Marathon weekend is such a great time at Walt Disney World.  There is so much excitement in the air!

The kids races are adorable!  It's always so fun to see the kids get their very own race medals and shirts. Here is the breakdown on the runDisney website:
    • 12 months and under - Diaper Dash for crawlers
    • 1-3 years old - 100m dash
    • 4-6 years old - 200m dash

So, it looks like your daughter would be in the 100m dash age group.  Obviously, there is a lot of toddling in that group and also a lot of parental involvement.  You are totally welcome to run with (or even carry her!) along the way.  It's just about having a good time and introducing our children to healthy habits!

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your half marathon!
