Hello! We are registered guests at the Grand Californian hotel Nov 5-Nov 7. We plan on visiting Disneyland Park on November 5. Can we check in and leave our luggage while in the park? Are we able to use the hotel amenities before 3pm?

Hello there, Tanya! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled to have you stop by with a question for us and what a great question it is!

I am so excited to see you are going to be staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I absolutely love the ambiance and spending time here whenever I can. I am happy to share that even if your room is not ready upon arrival on check-in day, you are more than welcome to start enjoying all the amenities of being a Guest at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. Once you check-in, you can head to Bell Services where they will gladly store your luggage for you. Then you are welcome to head into the parks if you have tickets and theme park ticket reservations for that day or start enjoying the hotel amenities, like the pool.

One of my favorite perks of being a Guest at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is the entrance straight into Disney California Adventure Park. It's so convenient and I love that it drops you right into the park near one of my favorite attractions, Soarin' Around the World. If you head the opposite way, you'll head straight for Pixar Pier where one of my favorite dining locations, Lamplight Lounge, is located. I love grabbing some Lobster Nachos and a craft beer and enjoy watching Guests getting launched into their mission to catch Jack-Jack on Incredicoaster.

Tanya, thanks again for stopping by! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
