    Do you have to be a registered guest of Art of Imagination to take part in the free daily drawing classes?

    Hi, there!

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!

     My family just enjoyed a delightful stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort a few months ago. Elaborately themed, this Resort hotel is lots of fun to explore! One of the coolest things about Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the lobby area with extra-large sketches from popular Disney films hanging on the walls. It's here that you'll find the free drawing classes, and you'll be pleased to know that everyone, Guests and visitors alike, are most welcome to grab a clipboard and take a seat! Classes are usually offered between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. When you arrive to the hotel, stop by the Concierge desk and the friendly Cast Member there can give you the day's class schedule. 

     While you're at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, be sure to visit Landscapes of Flavors, one of the best Quick-Service dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. My husband highly recommends the Surf and Surf Burger; a crab cake topped with fried popcorn shrimp and Cajun remoulade. YUM! Be sure to walk around the Resort too. The larger-than-life characters and lush landscaping make for really great photo opportunities. Keep an eye out for the fun facts posted through the Lion King section - they are SO interesting!
