I am registered in the Expedition Everest Challenge Team race but my teammate injured her knee last week and will not be able to run. She's not even sure if she can speed-walk at the 16 minute mile pace. What do I do?

    Hi, Billy!

I am so sorry to hear about your injured teammate! I would suggest calling the team over at runDisney directly at 1(407) 939-4786 to see if you have any recourse. They are very good about dealing with individual circumstances that may arise before a race. I am inclined to say they will allow you to complete the race as an individual while still utilizing your team bib, but you'll still want to speak with staff to be sure.

I hope your teammate recovers quickly and is back on her feet soon! Please do not hesitate to ask me any additional questions you may have.

    Good Luck, Billy!
