If I have a registered day guest, can they also use the pool at my resort?

    Hiya Jennifer,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your resort question. How exciting that you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel. There is truly something extra magical about being on property. From the immersive theming to the background music playing as you walk through the lobby. One of my family’s favorite resorts is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Waking up, grabbing a cup of coffee, and watching giraffes and zebras stroll across the savanna right from our balcony is one of those moments that never gets old.

Now, let’s jump into your question. After checking with a friendly Cast Member, I was told that day Guests are allowed to visit and use the pools. This is always subject to availability and Cast Member discretion, especially during busy times. Once your Guests arrive at the resort, they will drive up to security, where they will provide your name and room number at the security gate. Security will typically ask to see identification and then direct them to where to park. Then they are good to go.

Jennifer, I also highly recommend making a dining reservation for when your Guests arrive. Sharing a meal at one of the many fantastic Disney restaurants is such a great way to spend time together.

I hope this helps answer your question and makes your planning a little easier. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again.

    See you real soon,
