    I registered my daughter for one of the kids RunDisney races in January 2017. My husband and I want to run in the 5k. What are the requirements for our daughter to run with us? Do we buy her a 5k tickets as well?

    Hi Lori! (great name!)

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I think running the 5K as a family is a great idea!  It's always so much fun to share these moments with the ones you love the most.

    You will have to register her as a runner for the 5K, along with yourself and your husband.  Registration opens tomorrow (April 26, 2016) at Noon Eastern Time.  You'll be able to find a link on the registration tab of the Walt Disney World Marathon website once registrations begin.  Keep in mind that she must be five years of age on race day to compete in the 5K and must be able to complete the race on her own.

    You and your husband will each need your own Active.com account to register.  You can register your daughter under one of your accounts.
