Hi! We registered for the DAS because both of my children are autistic. Can DAS also be used at the water parks? We plan on going to Blizzard Beach on our trip if the weather is good.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Sharon!

It sounds as if your planning is off to a great start. Registering for the Disability Access Service ahead of your arrival at The Most Magical Place on Earth is a great way to save time and arrive ready to enjoy the best trip ever. You can use the Disability Access Service, or DAS,  at all four theme parks in Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, DAS is not offered at the water parks. While I am sure that this is not the news you were hoping for, I do have some tips and tricks to share to help you plan for a splashtastic time at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

The recent announcement that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will be reopening this month was an exciting update that we have all been waiting to hear. The park will reopen with fun new Frozen theming in Tike's Peak and there are new tasty holiday treats being offered. There will even be daily snowfall through December 31st! I recommend spending some time checking out all this park has to offer with your children before your arrival. Make a must-see list, and try to hit those spots first thing. I suggest arriving early (if the weather permits) before the afternoon crowds begin making their way to this winter wonderland. Be sure to review the guide map in advance and locate the Guest Services locations. Guest Services can also provide water park-specific information for Guests with disabilities. The guide map will also provide location information for companion restrooms and shaded rest areas, should you need them.

While you are making your must-see list and planning out your day, you can also review the menus of the dining locations at Blizzard Beach. Knowing what to expect before heading to a restaurant can be incredibly helpful when planning your breaks. Some locations even offer Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. The ability to order your meal in advance and select your preferred dining time is a great way to avoid lines throughout your visit to the water park and the theme parks too!

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
