Hi there, Josephine!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney so that we can help you head down to the bayou with Tiana and her friends! It looks like you're already in the middle of the magic, so let's get right to your question. This gon' be good!
If you are a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, then I'm delighted to share that The Most Magical Place on Earth is currently a bit more magical for you because Walt Disney World is in the midst of Passholder Previews for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure! On June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20 Annual Passholders have the opportunity to experience the attraction before other Guests by joining a
virtual queue. Just like on attractions such as TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, queues will open at 7 AM and 1 PM. Guests hoping to join the 7 AM virtual queue will need a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park, but happily, the 1 pm queue will be available to all Annual Passholders regardless of location and theme park reservation status. Just remember that if you hold a theme park reservation for somewhere other than Magic Kingdom Park, you'll need to enter that park before heading over to Magic Kingdom once your boarding group is called.
If you are not an Annual Passholder then you will need to wait until the attraction opens to the public on June 28 to enjoy the big drop.
Disney Parks Blog recently announced that Tiana's Bayou Adventure will not initially offer a standby queue. Guests hoping to enjoy the attraction will either need to join a virtual queue or purchase Disney Genie+ service for the day and reserve a lightning lane entrance.
I hope this was helpful, Josephine. If you have any other questions about Tiana's Bayou Adventure or the recently expanded New Orleans presence in the theme parks, I encourage you to check out all of the information available on
Disney Parks Blog. You can also
stop back by planDisney any time. We're always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
