Hello Bradley, and welcome to planDisney!
I must begin by explaining that as the current
UK-based planDisney Panelist, it's always a pleasure for me to assist a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom. Plus, I was also happy to note that you hail from the glorious County of Devon, which is right across the River Tamar from me down here in the neighbouring County of Cornwall!
Bradley, I have some zip-a-dee-doo-dah-day news to share with you concerning registration for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Walt Disney World Resort! Upon arrival at your 1st Disney Theme Park Park, simply make your way to
Guest Relations where helpful Cast Members will be waiting to discuss your particular disability needs, and if appropriate, will be able to provide registration for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
It may also be useful to know that any Disability Access Service (DAS) which may be issued, will be good for your length of stay, or for up to a whole 60 days!
I'd like to reassure you that in my own experience of holidaying with family members who live with a hidden, or
cognitive disability, I really can't speak highly enough of the accommodations made at
Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with Disabilities.Bradley, I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide a little pixie-dusted assistance, and guidance for you today. The merry month of May is such a charming time to
enjoy everything that's on offer in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, and during the last few remaining days of your countdown to Disney, you may wish to take a peek at our
planDisney Extras.
Or perhaps, take a moment to enjoy our
planDisney Podcast which includes a
SPECIAL EPISODE: May the 4th Be With You! in readiness for your adventures to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Cheers, and have a great Disney day! ~
Jane
