Wingapo (welcome), Sheryl!
No need to worry about what’s around the riverbend, because you’ll be on your way to The Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days. As exciting as that is, I know there’s a lot of prep leading up to your arrival to assure everything goes as smoothly as possible, so I’d be happy to help with your question.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a service available to Guests who struggle with the extended wait times found in the traditional queues due to a disability. You can apply for DAS either via a video chat with a Cast Member through
DAS Advance or in person at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, or a Guest Information location once you arrive. Should you prefer the video chat option, you will need to get started on that as soon as possible since you can only pre-register 30 to 2 days prior to your expected park visit.
To participate in the video chat, make sure you are signed in to your My Disneyland account, then head over to the
DAS registration webpage between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. PST. Scroll down until you see the option that says “Ready to Chat with a Cast Member?” halfway down the page. Review the Terms & Conditions therein, then continue by clicking the “Request Live Chat” button. Since DAS is utilized by a plethora of Guests, the wait time to talk to a Cast Member can be lengthy from time to time. Because of this, I suggest calling as soon as they open to get everything situated.
I hope this information proves useful, Sheryl. If you think of anything else we can help you with, please stop by planDisney again. Have a magical trip!
Paint with all the colors of the wind,
