    Register with DAS

Welcome to planDisney, Eric! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Disability Access Service (DAS) is a great tool for guests with disabilities that make it difficult for them to wait in a traditional queue environment. I often travel with someone in my family who uses DAS, and it helps us relax and enjoy our time at Walt Disney World Resort knowing that their needs are being accommodated.

You have two options when it comes to registering for DAS: you can pre-register before you arrive for your vacation or you can visit Guest Relations at a Theme Park once you've arrived and do it there. If you want to pre-register, you'll video chat with a Cast Member and they'll work with you to determine if DAS is right for you. You can do this between 2 and 30 days before you arrive for your trip, so make sure to leave yourself enough time if this is the registration method that you decide on. The guest using DAS must be available during this video chat to have their photo taken and complete registration.

My family typically registers for DAS on the first day of our trip at a Guest Relations location. We find the process in the Theme Park to be quick, smooth, and efficient! Once you have registered, a DAS tile will pop up in the main menu of your My Disney Experience app and you will be able to book return times using that tool.

I hope this answers your question, Eric, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jessica, Texas

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our three rescue animals. We are Disney Parks-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
