How to I register for DAS

Hiya, Michelle! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question!

Registering for the Disability Access Service (DAS) is actually really simple, so I'm happy to walk you through the steps today. Before we begin, however, I do have to let you know that the DAS pre-registration live chat still isn't available for Guests in the United Kingdom, but that shouldn't be a problem. As a fellow international Guest and DAS user, I can tell you that the process is super quick and straightforward!

Michelle, all you need to do is head over to any Guest Relations location throughout the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to one of the wonderful Cast Members there. You will need to tell them that you would like to register for the DAS, and they will ask you a series of questions pertaining to your condition. If and when the Cast Members determine that you're eligible for the service, they will take your picture and scan your party's MagicBands or cards. After that, you'll be all set!

Once a Guest Relations Cast Member has activated the service for you, you will need to head on over to the attraction or experience of your choice and ask one of the Cast Members at the front for a DAS return time. They will once again scan your MagicBand or card, ask who will be riding with you, and give you a set time for you to return.

It's very important to note that you won't be able to hold more than one DAS reservation at a time, so choose wisely! Once you've secured a reservation, however, you won't need to use it during an hour-long block before it expires. On the contrary, you will be able to use it from your set time up until the Theme Park's closing time, so you're free to wander around and head back to the attraction or experience whenever you're ready.

I hope that my answer has helped clarify things for you, Michelle! If you have any other questions about DAS or anything else, you know where to find us. Until then, have a magical day!
