Greetings, Rachel!
Welcome to planDisney! This is a really great question. My Ohana used the DAS pass for many years, and it was incredibly helpful. I am happy to share all you need to know about registering for Disability Access Service, so you can continue planning the best trip ever.
You can
register for DAS through a live video chat once you have arrived in the US. You will need to use
the registration link found on the US version of the Walt Disney World website. Video chats can be requested up to sixty days before your first park day, and your DAS registration is valid for the length of your ticket. The Guest utilizing DAS does need to be present for the call, and a photo will be taken of them during the process.
Before you click the registration link, be sure to set up your
My Disney Experience account. You will also want to check that all Guests in your travel party, including the Guest registering for DAS, have accounts and that
you link your profiles. You will not be able to register or
select Return Times until you complete this step. You will also need theme park admission for each person using the service with the registered Guest.
Should eligibility be determined, you will be able to select Return Times throughout your stay by using the
My Disney Experience app. Once you have entered any of the four theme parks, tap the three lines located on the bottom right side of the app. You should see a DAS button, and you will be able to scroll through available attractions and select your first return time easily.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
Tammy
