In regards to the Toy Story parking lot - is it possible to walk in to catch a ride on the shuttle? or is it only allowed if you actually park a vehicle?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Shilene!

Since life is sweet here, you’ve got to be here. Naturally.

Thanks for stopping by with your question! We all know that flippin' your fins, you don’t get too far, so, let’s see what’s required for jumpin’, dancin’, and strolling along down the…what’s that word again?... Main Street U.S.A.!

Shilene, the Toy Story Parking Area shuttles are primarily intended for guests who have parked their vehicles in the lot. The shuttle service is generally exclusive to those who have used the Toy Story parking area for their cars.

As someone who’s local and often gets dropped off near the resort, I’ve had the chance to hop on the Toy Story parking lot shuttle myself. While the main rule is that you need a parked vehicle to use it, there might be some flexibility depending on the situation and the shuttle staff. However, it's best to plan on using alternative transportation if you’re not parking there.

For a guaranteed ride to the parks without parking, you might want to consider using the local buses or ride-share services like Lyft or Uber, which can drop you off right near the entrance.

Well, Shilene, the lute play the flute, the carp play the harp, the plaice play the bass….and I’ve got to get back to answering more questions. If you have any other questions or need more tips, you know where to find us!
