In regards to the refillable drink mugs at the resorts. What are you able to refill it with? Is it just soda, or can you get juice for the kids, coffee in the morning for the adults? thanks

Hey there, James. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I bet you are getting so excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, it will be here before you know it!

I've been going to Walt Disney World pretty much my whole life. As far back as I can remember the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have offered a refillable mug. The design has changed over the years but the concept has stayed the same. I've got quite the collection now. The refillable mug is a 16 ounce insulated mug that are now sold for the length of your stay. Currently, June 2019, the mugs are sold for $18.99 or are included on the Disney Dining Plan. Guests, like yourself, can fill the mug up with unlimited soda, coffee, hot chocolate, hot and cold tea and water from the self service beverage counter located at the resort hotel. Sometimes the soda fountain machines carry Powerade and lemonade so depending on which resort you are staying at those might be an option too. At this time, you are not able to refill your mug with juice or milk. Keep in mind that you are able to use your refillable mug at any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, not just the one you are staying at. If you are resort hopping to see the sights or dining at a restaurant inside one of the resort hotels feel free to slip your mug in your bag and use it there.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion, James. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
